In view of the 400th Anniversary of the first printing of the A.V. (King James) Bible, Hethersett Independent Reformed
Baptist Church have had manufactured a small (16mm across) metal lapel badge, coloured gold with black print.
This
badge has been available from other sources in the past, but recently became unavailable due to the manufacture closing down,
we are pleased that we have found another badge manufacture to supply them for us. So many A.V. users, including
myself, have been wearing the badge for some time.
The real benefit of wearing this badge is the opportunity
it gives to witness to the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. People are naturally inquisitive, and I have had many ask
me what AV 1611 means, which opens the gate for witness, and with the 400th Anniversary in 2011 what better way to witness
and to promote the A. V. Bible.
The Badges are priced at £2.20 each (including p&p) and can be purchased
through my own personal web site, www.theforceoftruth.com
If you are a lover of the A.V. then take this opportunity to make know the best English translation of the Bible
ever printed ......WEAR THE BADGE.
KEEP US INFORMEDWe would
like to thank our friends for letting us know about changes. As we can not possibly contact all churches, we depend on you to provide information. We shall keep all the places of worship listed, but you
are well advised to double check that they still use the Authorised Version.
Email
from Suffolk: Thank you very much for providing such a useful service; please find details of our church for entry into the
directory.
Email sent to us on 16th August 2010 by a brother in the south of England: ... I realise it will take some work each year for you to check your entries against this list, However
the work you do is greatly appreciated. Your site comes up on google searches for chapels etc and is used by many visitors
to our chapels. We have had several from Holland this year who have found us through your web site.
